I know I know. Sorry for keeping y’all waiting. In my defense, 1. This isn’t my cup of coffee (but I’m starting to like it) 2. Been hella caught up. But hey, were here again. If you’ve been keeping up with me on Instagram, I’ve been sharing few snippets of my awe moments in Egypt and today I come bearing gifts.
So lemme start by saying, we almost missed this epic moment. How you ask? So here we are just checked in into our hotel, blaa blaa blaa THERE IS A SWIMMING POOL. (This is the genesis of disaster) The mission at this point was to finish eat quick and jump in. It’s 12 AM and guess what we are up to. Yap, swimming. knowing very well we should be catching some shut eye since wake up time was 3:00 AM. We finally decide to give in. So a power nap will do good right? Naaah bad bad idea. So how did we make it? So Peter was probably dreaming he was swimming and you know what they say about having a dream with water in it. You are probably peeing. Yap Peter (@petersize10)woke up turning things around shouting we’ve probably been left.
Pack up, gear check, ran down to the lobby. Surprise surprise, mother nature saves the day.
So this is the the first thing we thing see is this and in my head I’m asking myself are we late? What if we don’t catch the sunrise?
Woohoo I keep my calm the minute I see the locals prepping more Hot Air Balloons.
At this point, I am like a squirrel on coffee. Get the bird in the Air Granpa.
From this point, the rest is History.
