I Know you want it. How about you buy it?

BMX FLATLAND RIDER

*Cut to scenes of us roaming the streets of Cairo*

It’s probably 5PM, so here we are with @petersize10 on our quest to explore every corner of Cairo,  enjoying every moment as we watch the sunset slowly fall on the old textured buildings. It’s magical, more than beautiful. Busy playing playing Human Tetris with cars on the streets (story for another day)

*Fast forward* Straight ahead at some park, there’s  a champ who’s got people’s attention. He is not your average rider, the fella is doing magic on his bike. I am trigger happy. How do I tame the beast in me. Impossible have to shoot him, so I tell Peter I’m going to take some pictures.

My world comes crushing down. The devil on my right shoulder is laughing at me. Why? Well I’m really not good with people. To make it worse he is a stranger. So after lots of battles with myself I decide to take a leap of faith. What’s the worst that could happen right?

ME: Excuse me, can we take pictures as you ride your bike?

HIM: No English

*Pin-drop silence* Haha Just kidding. It is too noisy you can’t hear a tree fall.

At this point, it’s systems shutdown. Red lights beeping all over. Abort mission. Abort mission. The devil on my right shoulder is not making things easier. Ding Ding Ding. *Tadaa. a Lightbulb moment* I point at my camera and his bike and voila we are on the same page. He nods his head. Tango we have lift off. I repeat, we have lift off.

So the shoot turns out to be a success. I ask him his name (Mostafa Karam) We exchange numbers, friends on Facebook yadda yadda yadda. I should stop here right? NO. I decide to push mu limits. I decide to shoot a mini video about him. Can’t be that hard.

Ooopps I’m drifting off. This is another story for another day. For now, dig in.
